Low-Rise Residential Site Superintendent

The Opportunity

Our client is an established residential developer and builder with an active portfolio of low-rise communities. Due to ongoing project requirements, they are looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to their construction team.

This is an opportunity for a strong low-rise construction professional who can take ownership of day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades, maintain schedules, and ensure homes are delivered to the expected standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities across the site.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, deliveries, and site personnel.

  • Maintain construction schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.

  • Monitor workmanship and address deficiencies or construction issues as they arise.

  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, building requirements, and company standards.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized construction site.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure required documentation is maintained.

  • Review drawings and resolve site-related discrepancies or coordination issues.

  • Maintain accurate site reports, records, timesheets, and project documentation.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other members of the construction team.

  • Assist with subcontractor and supplier coordination where required.

  • Support the project team with additional site responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Site Superintendent or comparable supervisory position.

  • Strong background in low-rise residential construction.

  • Thorough understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, materials, and site operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Strong knowledge of construction health and safety practices.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and competing priorities.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with computers and construction-related software.

  • Ability to manage schedules and maintain a high standard of workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$130,000–$150,000, depending on experience and overall fit.

Our client is an equal opportunity employer and accommodations are available throughout the recruitment process upon request.
