Corporate Accountant – Capital Projects / Senior Accounts Payable – Capital Projects

This is more than traditional accounts payable — you’ll be at the center of construction and asset investment activity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across major initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Corporate Accountant – Capital Projects
  • Oversee full-cycle processing of capital project and fixed asset expenditures
  • Review and approve invoices, assessing capital vs. repair & maintenance treatment
  • Coordinate project setup, tracking and approvals within PeopleSoft
  • Perform detailed reconciliations of asset accounts and corporate reporting
  • Post monthly journal entries and complete fixed asset reconciliations
  • Manage tax self-assessments, holdbacks and coding based on project location
  • Support executive and board-level reporting packages
  • Assist with financial reporting projects and third-party reporting requirements
About You as the Corporate Accountant – Capital Projects
  • Experience supporting capital projects or construction-related accounting
  • Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and capitalization principles
  • Experience working with project-based accounting in an ERP system
  • Ability to assess tax treatment across multiple jurisdictions, including international projects
