Position Summary
We are seeking a hands‑on Controller to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights. The ideal candidate will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, working directly with the Owner / President. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to take ownership of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the Owner / President on strategic financial matters.
- Collaborate with external accountants for year end and throughout the year, as required.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in financial operations.
- Take ownership of financial reporting and contribute to business strategy and decision‑making.
