  • Monitor and report on project performance metrics , including progress, quality, cost tracking, and safety compliance.
  • Participate in and facilitate daily and weekly meetings (internal, client, subcontractor, safety).
  • Coordinate and document all change management , including RFIs, change orders, and schedule adjustments.
  • Assist with or manage procurement of equipment, materials, and services in collaboration with internal buyers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely site documentation including daily logs, construction reports, QA / QC records, and subcontractor updates.
  • Proactively manage and resolve field issues , prioritizing safety and project objectives.
  • Promote and uphold company and client health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of experience in project coordination or management within civil construction or mining environments.
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geological Engineering , or a related field (Technologist diploma or university degree).
  • Strong understanding of construction and earthworks operations , drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills , both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office , especially Excel; experience with MS Project, AutoCAD, survey tools (Topcon / Trimble) , or project management software is an asset.
  • Familiarity with QA / QC practices , permitting, and cost control processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or work in remote project locations.
  • PMP certification or work toward certification is considered an asset.
  • What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary civil and mining projects
  • Supportive team environment with room for growth and professional development
  • Competitive compensation package including wage, benefits, and travel support
  • Long-term employment prospects based on project success and individual performance
