Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a warehouse opportunity. This is a safety-sensitive role ideal for an experienced and reliable warehouse professional who is comfortable operating forklifts, handling materials, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for forklift operations, receiving and processing goods, loading and unloading materials, inventory and cycle counting, and general material handling. You will also support packaging operations, maintain accurate warehouse records, and ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Salary: $22/hour
  • Location: Brockville, ON
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely in a busy warehouse environment
  • Receive, load, and unload goods and materials as required
  • Support depalletizing operations and material movement throughout the facility
  • Perform inventory management tasks including cycle counting and stock tracking
  • Remove and dispose of dunnage and maintain clean work areas
  • Assist packaging operators and other warehouse staff as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safety-sensitive work environment
  • Support general material handling activities across warehouse operations
  • Ensure accurate handling and organization of products and materials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times
  • Follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
  • Valid forklift license is required
  • 1-5 years of warehouse or related industry experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely and consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and good memory skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Computer literate with ability to learn warehouse management systems (SAP experience is an asset)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to see tasks through to completion
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to pass a drug test
