Surveillance Security Guard - Future opportunities

We are building a talent pipeline for future openings supporting security operations at a high-security data center. This role is primarily administrative and computer-based, focused on monitoring security systems, managing remote access, and responding to alarms and communications.

This is not a traditional physical security role. Work is performed seated at a computer workstation in a controlled operations environment and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirement (Mandatory)

• Eligible for Secret clearance
• Resided continuously in Canada for the past 10 years (no exceptions)

Shift Schedule (Full-time)

• Continental shift schedule
• 12-hour shifts
• 2 weeks day / 2 weeks night rotation

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Barrie

• Monitor alarms, dashboards, and security systems
• Manage remote access requests
• Respond to security events per procedure
• Handle phone and email communications
• Document incidents and maintain logs/reports
• Escalate issues as required
• Follow access control and confidentiality policies

Qualifications for Security Guard in Barrie

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid security licence
• First aid certification required
• Strong computer skills and comfort with extended screen time
• Calm and focused under pressure
• Reliable attendance and professionalism
