Job description

What is it like to be an IT Risk Analyst at Northbridge Financial

The Risk Analyst is responsible for assisting in the Disaster Recovery Lifecycle, ensuring that application teams are well prepared to recover the applications they support in a real-life disaster.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

  • Drive the Risk Management Process Development and Execution.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology to drive business growth, profitability, and efficiencies.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations/procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to enhance the Systems analysis process.
  • Assist with the Disaster Recovery Process Development and Execution.
  • Assist with IT Business Continuity Oversight processes and solutions.

If you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Formal training in project management practices preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT.
  • 3+ years' experience in Risk Management related roles.
  • Knowledge of insurance, business, property and casualty insurance experience an asset.
