FORKLIFT & WAREHOUSE OPPORTUNITIESTHE JOBIntegrated Staffing is currently recruiting reliable and experienced Forklift Operators and Warehouse Workers for a variety of temporary, ongoing, and potential permanent opportunities throughout Halifax and surrounding areas.These positions are ideal for candidates with experience working in busy warehouse, distribution, dock, or yard environments. Depending on the position, responsibilities may include operating forklifts, loading and unloading freight, picking and preparing customer orders, organizing shipments, moving materials, and assisting with general warehouse operations. Some roles may involve working primarily indoors, while others may include a combination of warehouse and outdoor yard work. Candidates should be comfortable working around moving equipment, vehicles, and other warehouse personnel in fast-paced environments.WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
RequirementsCandidates must have previous warehouse, distribution, dock, or material-handling experience. Forklift certification and experience operating a counterbalance forklift are required for forklift positions. Duties may involve operating forklifts in busy or congested areas, loading and unloading trucks, moving large or cumbersome freight, picking and pulling customer orders, preparing shipments, organizing materials, and ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and handling materials weighing up to 75 lbs, as well as performing frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and other physical tasks throughout the day. Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and communication skills are important. Candidates must be safety-conscious and comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team environment. Experience with TDG, WHMIS, building materials, transportation, freight, or distribution is considered an asset.
