BC Eco Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our operations in OK Falls, BC. POSITION BENEFITS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy equipment
- Perform road deactivation and reactivation work according to project plans
- Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards
- Read and interpret maps, plans, and layouts to complete work accurately
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance
- Complete work as directed by site supervisors and project requirements
- Assist with general job setup, site cleanup, and material movement as needed
- Uphold company policies, core values, and a strong safety culture at all times
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing road deactivation and reactivation
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to read and understand maps, site plans, and layouts
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety
- Experience operating additional heavy equipment is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Physically fit and capable of working on uneven terrain and in outdoor environments
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed
