Reports to the Coordinator, Nutrition Services. The Clinical Dietitian plans, implements, and evaluates medical nutrition therapy for hospital-based and / or facility-based patients according to guidelines established by Nutrition Services. The candidate instructs and counsels patients and families regarding appropriate nutritional requirements, regimes, and food planning and preparation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics / nutrition or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program.
• Current license as a practicing Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Eligibility for membership with the Dietitians of Canada (DC).
• Preferred experience as a practicing Dietitian.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
