Job Description :
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Data Analyst to join our team!
We are seeking a Data Analyst who will play a pivotal role in collecting, analyzing, and transforming data into meaningful insights for our projects with clients. This professional will gather information from multiple sources and excel in researching, analyzing, and reporting.
The Data Analyst will develop analyses, visualizations, and reports to share with our clients, assisting them in various ways, including analyzing data from vendors, providing recommendations, and performing other duties based on client and project needs.
The Data Analyst is an advanced problem solver in the field of data science and asset lifecycle management, leveraging cutting-edge technological tools using software programming, data science, and program / project analytics. This role requires the ability to understand and evaluate complex challenges and data sets in support of asset and project management systems. The Data Analyst will implement analytical tools, leverage advanced technologies, collaborate across multi-disciplinary groups, implement creative techniques, and demonstrate project management skills to deliver solutions.
What you'll be doing :
- Lead and manage data-intensive projects, both standalone and as components of larger projects for the client.
- Work on program management projects to integrate advanced technologies.
- Act as a mentor to staff, directing their efforts on projects.
- Collaborate with client staff to understand their challenges, evaluate and recommend strategies, and follow through with the delivery of solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Parsons staff and clients to successfully complete project assignments.
- Ensure team adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Collect data from various sources.
- Streamline data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines.
- Design databases and data systems.
- Maintain databases and data systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance.
- Analyze collected data and put it into a format that others can easily interpret.
- Interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the organization.
- Prepare reports for clients based on project tasks.
- Collaborate with other employees, including engineers and programmers, to determine areas of analysis and improvement in relation to data.
- Perform project management duties as determined per project and per task.
