We're supporting a pioneering client in the quantum technology space in their search for an Integrated Photonics Engineer . This role is ideal for someone excited by the challenge of building novel photonic systems from the ground up, especially within a highly collaborative, research-driven environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, testing, and optimization of next-generation photonic circuits used in advanced computing applications. The position involves hands-on lab work, including the development of test platforms and data acquisition tools for device characterization across a range of temperatures.
Role Highlights
- Design and implement experiments to assess the performance of on-chip optical components and integrated photonic devices
- Set up and operate test equipment for evaluating photonic systems under various environmental conditions
- Analyze device behavior and performance metrics; summarize insights for internal teams
- Write scripts for automating test procedures and post-processing data
- Partner with internal stakeholders—engineers, scientists, and designers—to iterate on device development
- Document workflows and share technical knowledge across the organization
- Support intellectual property development through research contributions
