Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Autobody Technician to join our high-performing collision repair team. In this role, you will complete high-quality vehicle repairs, support production flow, and ensure every vehicle meets OEM standards. If you are a certified Journeyperson or Red Seal Technician with a passion for precision, quality workmanship, and a positive team-focused mindset, we want to hear from you.
  • Pay Rate: $32.00 - $35.00/hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Chetwynd, B.C.
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with vehicle disassembly, repair preparation, and overall bodyshop production flow
  • Support and mentor other technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality repairs
  • Interpret and follow OEM repair procedures, including pre- and post-scans, diagnostics, and module calibrations
  • Diagnose and repair modern vehicle systems and technologies accurately
  • Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including masking, sanding, buffing, wet sanding, and polishing
  • Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand tools and power tools
  • Conduct equipment audits to identify faults or malfunctions
  • Perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and manual labor related to autobody repair
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality repairs and excellent customer satisfaction
  • Meet production timelines while maintaining exceptional workmanship
  • Attend daily or weekly production meetings to stay aligned on workflow and priorities
  • Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications:
  • · Proven experience as an Autobody & Refinishing Technician
  • Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification (required)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency with autobody repair hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
