Senior Buyer

As the Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in sourcing and procuring electricalponents required for production, with a strong emphasis on supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. In this role, you will oversee the full procurement lifecycle from supplier identification and negotiation to purchase order management and cost optimization. You will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ensuring on-time delivery of materials, and supporting cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, and Quality. The ideal candidate brings strong purchasing expertise, hands-on experience with NPI, and the ability to manage day‑to‑day procurement activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of electricalponents used in manufacturing environments, including experience sourcing items such as cables, connectors, transformers, PCB assemblies, and related hardware. A solid background in NPI purchasing is essential, including the ability to interpret engineering drawings, collaborate with design teams during prototype phases, and manage supplier ramp‑up as products move from development to production. Candidates should bring proven supplier negotiation skills, familiarity with cost‑breakdown analysis, and experience working within ERP/MRP systems to manage demand planning and inventory accuracy. Strongmunication, problem‑solving abilities, and the capability to operate in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented setting are also key to success in this role.
