Cooke is continuing to mature its digital strategy through Business Capability and Product Teams that deliver meaningful outcomes across operations, processing, distribution, and corporate functions. As a Business Relationship Manager (BRM), you play a critical role in connecting business strategy with IT capabilities-ensuring the right initiatives are prioritized, governed, and positioned to deliver value.

The Role

As a BRM, you act as a trusted partner to assigned business capability areas. You translate business needs into structured demand, capability roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and delivery models. You do not own delivery execution, but you enable successful delivery by shaping clarity, alignment, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with assigned business capability leaders and product owners; understand their goals, KPIs, and pain points.
  • Lead capability discussions to identify opportunities, gaps, and improvement initiatives aligned to business strategy.
  • Support demand intake and prioritization using established governance and opportunity prioritization frameworks.
  • Facilitate capability roadmapping and quarterly planning sessions in partnership with business and IT teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, solution intents, and initiative definitions.
  • Support Architecture Review Board (ARB) preparation by ensuring scope, impacts, and alignment are well articulated.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Vendors, and Delivery Teams to manage dependencies and risks.
  • Lead service reviews and value discussions, helping articulate IT outcomes and benefits to the business.
  • Ensure documentation, repositories, and artifacts are accurate, current, and decision-ready.
  • Support change management and adoption activities for initiatives impacting assigned capabilities.

  • Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–6 years of experience in Business Relationship Management, Business Analysis, Product-facing IT, or similar roles.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with IT governance, portfolio management, and demand prioritization.
  • Experience using collaboration and planning tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Monday.com.
