Position Overview :

As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth and expansion, utilizing our expertise in powdered food product offerings.

You will identify and forge strategic partnerships with co-manufacturing partners, from brand owners to private labels. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will gather valuable insights on product requirements and market trends, leveraging this knowledge to identify and pursue potential co-manufacturing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Pursue new opportunities for co-manufacturing partnerships, fueling the growth and scalability of Crosby’s powdered food product offerings
  • Skillfully negotiate and execute co-manufacturing agreements that align with our business objectives and drive success.
  • Monitor and track the performance of co-manufacturing partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Work hand-in-hand with internal teams to understand evolving product requirements and market dynamics, effectively shaping our co-manufacturing partnership strategy.
  • Discover, assess, and evaluate potential co-manufacturing partners based on their capacity, capabilities, and alignment with Crosby’s product offerings.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing co-manufacturing partners, fostering mutually beneficial collaborations.

Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent, demonstrates your foundation for success.
  • With 5+ years of B2B sales experience in business development or a related field, including a focus on co-manufacturing partnerships, you have the expertise we need.
  • Your deep understanding of the food manufacturing industry ensures you can navigate the complexities of this dynamic sector.
  • Having experience in negotiating and executing co-manufacturing agreements showcases your ability to drive fruitful partnerships.
  • Your exceptional communication and relationship-building skills empower you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Whether working independently or as part of a team, you consistently deliver outstanding results.
  • Your project management skills, combined with your North American food manufacturing knowledge, make you an invaluable asset.

Fluency in French is an added advantage.
