Position Overview :
LawDepot.com is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Marketing Writer in Edmonton, Alberta. Working in the Content Marketing Department, you will be responsible for producing SEO-friendly, high quality, evergreen content to drive results for LawDepot products and websites. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week with opportunities for a hybrid work schedule.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Write SEO-friendly landing page copy, articles, and pillar pages
- Create long form legal resource articles, SEO content, user experience (UX) content (ex. CTAs, dialogs), and promotional email content
- Edit and proofread content developed by other team members
- Write UX copy, email copy, and support copy for other departments
- Complete projects to drive organic search results
- Develop landing page copy outlines
- Conduct research on various legal topics and develop ideas for content
- Utilize reports to identify natural search opportunities
- Assist in content brainstorming
- Collaborate with other internal departments (Legal, Product, Design, Development) to execute projects
