Role Responsibilities
Working in the Accreditation and Certification unit (A&C) of the Compliance & Assurance branch of the Warranty Certification and Policy Division, this position will provide services that include the development and maintenance of examination materials to support Alberta firefighter certifications. This position is also responsible for supporting A&C operations, communications with stakeholders, and the administration of the learning management system.
- Support the implementation and the ongoing administration of the A&C learning management system (LMS).
- Draft, support, and maintain examination materials for the NFPA standards included in the A&C certification program.
- Support A&C activities required for accreditation with ProBoard and IFSAC.
- Support and provide communications with A&C partners (e.g., evaluators, instructors, GOA staff and programs).
- Actively participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
