The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for temporary Parking Attendants who will be vital to executing KDays, which will take place July 17 – 26, 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direction to motorists using hand signals or light batons as necessary
- Controlling traffic flow while ensuring the safety of guests, vehicles, and the parking area
- Assisting guests with the parking payment system
- Welcoming guests, clients and staff with courtesy, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Maintaining knowledge of the venue and events to support guests with questions
- Lifting, positioning, and removing barricades and signs to open or close parking areas
- Monitoring surroundings to detect potential safety hazards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area
The successful candidate will have:
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service
- The ability to walk and/or stand for long periods while working in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, daytime, evening & weekends
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations appropriately
- The ability to work with the public and clients
