The Opportunity

Join Garfinkel’s Whistler as a Full-Time Bartender and be part of one of the most iconic and high-energy nightlife venues in the village. We’re looking for confident, fast-paced bartenders who thrive in a high-volume environment and know how to deliver great service while keeping the party going.

The ideal candidate is quick, efficient, and personable, with strong bar fundamentals, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a team-first mindset. You know how to move through busy rushes, maintain accuracy and consistency, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. What You Bring to the Table

  • Previous bartending experience, ideally in high-volume, fast-paced venues.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Exceptional customer service standards and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Clear, professional communication with both guests and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • 19+ years old with valid Serving It Right certification.
  • Previous hospitality experience is an asset.

    • Your Days Will Look Like

  • Take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests.
  • Serve drinks quickly and accurately, keeping the bar moving while delivering a great guest experience.
  • Process payments and accurately record sales.
  • Maintain and track bar inventory, restocking as needed.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware.
  • Follow all provincial / territorial liquor laws and regulations.
  • Promote and sell Après Passes and TAG experiences to guests.
  • Perform closing duties, including cleaning, securing the bar, and ensuring all tasks are completed before leaving.
  • Other duties as reasonably directed.
