Job Overview

IIQAF Group is hiring an experienced and customer-focused Bartender to join our hospitality team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage service, mixology, customer service, and bar operations in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or lounge environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine
Provide exceptional customer service and guest engagement
Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, promotions, and seasonal beverages
Handle cash transactions, POS systems, and payment processing
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure Smart Serve compliance
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies
Follow all Ontario liquor laws and health & safety regulations
Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bartender, Mixologist, or Bar Server in a restaurant, hotel, or lounge

Valid Smart Serve Certification (Ontario requirement)

Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, and bar operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in high-volume restaurants, hotels, or event venues

Knowledge of craft cocktails and modern mixology techniques

Previous experience using POS systems and cash handling procedures
