Job Description

General duties include but are not limited to :

Plumbing
Electrical
HVAC
Drywall installation and repair
Painting – interior and exterior
Tile installing and repair
Concrete and paving work
Operation of company vehicles on company property and public roadways (including snow plows)
Operation of heavy equipment including backhoe, end loader and plow trucks
Spot, MIG and / or TIG welding to repair and maintain equipment and structures as needed
Diagnose and repair maintenance equipment and facility mechanicals on as needed basis
Walk long distances as needed to address maintenance issues
Operate, lift, transport and distribute supplies such as snow blowers, salt bags, shop vacs, fertilizer, etc.
Potential aerial work with lifts and cranes at heights up to 150 feet.

Qualified candidates must have the following :

Able to stand, walk, crouch stoop and sit for varying times during shifts up to 12 hours long

Safely use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, pliers, saws, drills, torches, etc.

Lift and carry 50 pounds for sustained distances

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Have at least 3 years of general maintenance and / or facilities repair experience

Prior exposure to operating construction / maintenance equipment such as backhoe and end loader

At least 3 years’ experience in welding steel (preferred)

Experience in underground work such as utilities, sewer, and placement of concrete (preferred)

All offers of employment are contingent upon the following :

Ability to be bonded

Successful completion of background check

Verification of references and satisfactory driving record

Possession of, or ability to obtain an enhanced driver’s license, passport or Nexus card

Possesses or able to obtain security reliability status

Pay : From $32.29 per hour
