Thus, through our enriching co-op program, we help develop the next-generation of engineers and technologists.
As a Software Testing Co-op, you will support our Design Business Unit to test the new features of our design and modeling products. You will be testing software to ensure product requirements and quality standards are satisfied and help assess how well the product will meet customer needs both in terms of functionality and usability.
We are inviting applications for an intern position that starts in August 2025 and ends in April 2026. Thus, the duration of this co-op term will be 8 months. Please verify with your university that you meet this requirement before you apply for this position,
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Testing and quality assurance of software products like Discovery and SpaceClaim
- Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results
- Investigate and track defects in production code
- Develop and maintain regression tests
- Create scripts and tools to automate testing infrastructure, process and tools
- Learn and employ best practices for quality assurance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing BS or MS in any field related to Mechanical, Aerospace, and Civil or Structural Engineering with a GPA of or higher
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the
completion of the co-op
Knowledge and interest in software testing methodologies and / or EDA tools
Knowledge of CAD software
Basic exposure to scripting languages such as C, C++, and Python
Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills
Team player, responsible, and motivated
