Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (.Net 70% / React 30%)
Location: Waterloo, Ontario
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in office). Located near the University of Waterloo Campus
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000 CAD annually + RRSP matching
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong front-end focus to join a growing technology team in Whitby, Ontario. This position is primarily focused on Angular development (approximately 80%), with additional responsibilities supporting backend development using .NET technologies (approximately 20%).
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications that support core business operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular
Develop and support backend services and APIs using .NET / C#
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
Participate in code reviews and contribute to established development standards and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to system performance, scalability, and security
Maintain appropriate technical documentation
Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with React (recent versions preferred)
Experience developing RESTful APIs using .NET / C#
Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Annual base salary range of $90,000 – $130,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications
