Job Brief : Project Director – Mining Portfolio (Morocco)

About the Role :

We are seeking an exceptional Project Director - Expat to lead and deliver a groundbreaking joint venture in the phosphates mining sector in Morocco. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and oversee the success of a large-scale mining project in collaboration with a Tier 1 engineering company and a global leader in mining.

As the Project Director, you will manage complex project delivery, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, innovation, and sustainability. This pivotal leadership role will require strategic oversight, team coordination, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and drive the successful execution of a major mining project, managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality to exceed client expectations.
• Build and foster collaboration between joint venture stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication across all phases of the project.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting a high-performance culture with a focus on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and manage cutting-edge project delivery frameworks, ensuring adherence to world-class EPCM and Tier 1 mining standards.
• Navigate complex logistical, regulatory, and environmental challenges, providing solutions that support project timelines and objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership, delivering updates on progress, challenges, and milestones.
