Compensation : $23.00 to $25.00 hourly
Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable (A / P) Clerk available to start immediately. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Kitchener, Ontario area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A / P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G / L, and process checks.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
- Carry out additional projects as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
- Implement full-cycle A / P
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP / Finance Department
- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
