The opportunity
Ernst & Young is seeking a Senior DevOps and Linux Systems Administrator to provide in-depth technical expertise related to the build, availability, design, security and support of systems within EY's Cyber Threat Management practice.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with demonstrated experience working in fast-paced production environments and an interest in cybersecurity operations.
This position falls within our Consulting Service Line, which helps our clients enhance the effectiveness of operations functions by assisting them as they shift their emphasis from transaction-level control, processing and reporting to more value driven, decision support and analytics.
Your key responsibilities :
- Managing, deploying and maintaining Linux systems and infrastructure for EY's Cyber Threat Management practice
- Monitoring and alerting on servers, network systems and security - including supporting with remediation
- Managing and maintaining automation and orchestration technologies
- Deploying open-source applications as containers in Docker / Linux environment
- Racking / Stacking of New Hardware at Datacenter when required
- Documenting system configurations and changes
- Supporting with client escalations and troubleshooting
- Maintaining current knowledge on key trends and products related to cybersecurity operations
Skills and Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant work experience deploying and maintaining Linux systems and infrastructure
- Proven technical knowledge and experience working with networking, automation, orchestration and cloud technologies and applications
- Prior experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic and Ansible
- Prior experience working with Azure Cloud and AWS is considered an asset
- Prior experience working in an Agile environment is considered an asset
- Datacentre experience is an asset
