Technical Product Manager

Air-tek
Toronto, ON
Permanent

Working closely with a full spectrum of stakeholders to deliver exceptional product value, from ideation to execution, you will be responsible for leading the charge on ensuring that we are solving the right problems, in the most effective way, for our customers and travelers.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will focus on expanding platform capabilities through integrations with 3rd party vendors and service providers, and ensuring that new customers are launched with all integration needs met to support critical business processes and core application workflows.

Critical to being successful in this role is experience and strength working in a high-velocity environment, analyzing and breaking down complex problems to deliver elegant enterprise product solutions.

You are a "full-stack" PM, with an ability to drive strategic conversations through strong communication and organization skills, while also diving into the details with passion to guarantee that all angles are covered.

You embrace and enact agile practices, but you understand how to lend those fundamental principles to thorough planning and committed delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Own the analysis, compilation, tracking, and efficient execution of customer integration requirements for new launches
  • Own the roadmap and execution guidance for a portion of our client integrations roadmap
  • Own the roadmap and execution guidance for 3rd party integrations that support our core traveler experiences (B2B2C), working alongside other PMs to ensure effective delivery and go-to-market success
  • Work closely with Delivery and Implementation Managers to capture a full understanding of core customer processes and operational needs, and then in collaboration with Engineering stakeholders, translate those needs into intelligent, scalable solution design and implementation plans
  • Own the internal execution documentation via Epics and User Stories, and support external documentation by creating feature overview content, and directly supporting Technical Writers in the creation of Help Guides and Release Notes
  • Manage your slice of the product roadmap through strategic planning and an execution-oriented backlog, constantly prioritizing, discovering, documenting and grooming
  • You'll deliver exceptional communication artifacts; some that will enable Engineers and QA to create (e.g., Epics & User Stories), and others that will enable stakeholders from all other departments to learn, support, and promote (e.

g., Internal education decks).

  • Alongside team leads / scrum masters, facilitate agile ceremonies to ensure that work is properly scoped, defined, planned, committed, and delivered
  • Reporting into the VP, Product, you will be providing intelligent insights and thoughtful guidance on how processes and practices can be optimized within the organization so that the Product team, and R&D as a whole, is best positioned to execute nothing short of excellence.
  • You're a self-starter and you get things done. You're a stellar executor with the ability to manage projects across stakeholders in a very timely manner.

Unquestioned integrity with a 'Can-Do' attitude. Flexible in doing whatever is necessary to get results.

  • You are project, detail, and data oriented. You love getting great results and are extremely organized.
  • You are fluent with technology and have a natural ability to understand complex SaaS products
  • You love our customer and have a passion to understand what motivates and engages our users and their organizations

About You

  • 4+ years of Technical Product Management experience
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business / Commerce, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar fields
  • Experience building out APIs and delivering integration solutions between enterprise platforms and 3rd party systems
  • Experience working with Enterprise solutions
  • Proficiency in ALM software and other tools of your trade i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Notion, Trello, Whimsical, etc.
  • A natural 'owner' - highly motivated, organized self-starter that can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional organization and permanent attention to detail
  • Strong experience in Agile & Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in the airline, aviation or travel industry is a bonus
