This established, fast growing, company is looking for a highly motivated team player who will join our Finance team as an experienced Senior Accountant ( 12-month contract) .
Reporting to the Controller, this role will assist the Controller with accounting duties for Armour Group of Companies as noted below but not limited to :
Job Duties
- Accounts Receivable Analysis customer data, Invoice customers and record payments
- Account Payable Input invoices and pay by cheque or EFT.
- Commission Prepare commission reports bi-monthly and process payments and record related party transactions.
- Process employee expenses monthly.
- Bank reconciliations for all companies.
- General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Specific duties will be adjusted as required to meet the needs of the company.

Requirements :
- College diploma with accounting background, preferred
- Direct work experience in accounting role for 3 years or more
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team
- Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
