Career Opportunity :
A Provincial Red Seal Licensed Industrial Maintenance Millwright working as part of the maintenance team in our safe and clean manufacturing facility.
To be considered for this position, you must be able to work, as part of a team, 8 hours per day with a weekly rotating shift;
midnights 11 : 00 pm 7 : 00 am, afternoons 3 : 00 pm 11 : 00 pm, and days 7 : 00 am 3 : 00 pm
You must also be able to tolerate warm temperatures in the summer months.
All successful applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal background check, pre-employment medical, and a clear drug test.

Job Duties :
Troubleshoots problems on plant equipment and facilitates and determines maintenance requirements. Ability to go to the root cause of problems.
Perform proper follow-up on repairs to implement long-term solutions.
- Responds to breakdowns on plant equipment and in the building. Ability to determine the need for temporary solutions or permanent solutions based on time constraints given by production.
- Maintains preventative maintenance programs and ensures regular checks and lubrication on all equipment.
- Assists with the installation of plant equipment and occasionally assists in fabrication.
- Possesses awareness of what fits are required for various services, including antifriction bearings, and is able to make these fits.
- Handles heavy equipment safely.
- Any mechanical-related repairs as assigned by the Reliability Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Coordinator.
What you need to work at WestRock :
- High school diploma
- Provincial Red Seal Certified Industrial Millwright
- Minimum 5 years as a licensed Industrial Millwright
- Technical knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, can-do attitude / initiative
- Able to work shifts.
