Responsibilities :
- Prepare Mise en Place for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) while avoiding cross contamination
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary items
- Ensure that all food items come out simultaneously, high quality and in a timely fashion
- Prepare a variety menu items based on Glencoe standards and requirements
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 year culinary experience
- A Journeyman Seal or working towards a Red Seal certification an asset
- Have open availability morning, evening and weekend
- Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instruction
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
- Food Safe Certification and other required certifications

Additional Details :
This is a full time position that reports to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate will required to work a variety of shifts including weekends, weekdays, evenings and holidays with shifts starting as early as 6am and as late as 8 : 30pm, so a flexible schedule is required.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
