Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer specialized in coating and welding. In this role you will have the opportunity to work handson with a variety of rotating and stationary equipment contributing significantly to our advanced energy companys operations.
Responsibilities :
- Provide expert technical support in coating and welding including testing and issuing related technical reports.
- Offer technical consultations to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
- Support field installation maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot repair and modify existing equipment focusing on cost reductions and process improvements.
- Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
- Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Introduce and apply the latest technology in coating and welding methodologies.
- Develop and revise the departments technical procedures and standards.
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers quality inspectors and technicians.
- Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
- Collaborate with department engineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) other company departments and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with InHouse Repair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractors and vendors for shop repair work scopes.
- Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
Requirements :
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelors Degree in Welding Engineering.
- At least 15 years of handson experience in thermal coating and welding.
- Proven experience in thermal coating laser cladding and welding.
- Experience with rotating equipment in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility.
- Welding certification from AWS or an equivalent organization.
- Excellent English reading and writing skills.
