The Sales Engineer is responsible for :
- Growing the sales of Monarch products within the assigned territory.
- Managing the complete sales cycle from consultation with customers to closing.
- Identifying new customers through research, networking and cold calling.
- Proactively managing existing accounts while prospecting for new business within existing customer base.
- Developing and implementing detailed plans to maximize sales for each customer.
- Collaborating with Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to develop effective sales plans, ensuring sales targets are met in the near-term and sustained into the future.
- Facilitating improved communication within the organization by monitoring current and future requirements to ensure Monarch is well positioned to sustain and increase business.
- Monitoring customers’ business conditions and communicating with the organization to ensure performance targets are being met.
- Compiling and communicating accurate sales forecasts continuously.
You and Your Experience :
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- An established track record of selling technical or industrial products and solutions, demonstrating success through various market conditions.
- Proven ability to build lasting business-to-business sales relationships while exceeding sales growth and profitability goals.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency with a proven record of following though to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Experience that demonstrates capability of developing solutions with customers’ Engineering Departments.
- Will have experience and success selling to OEM’s.
- Must be able to travel across international borders.
