As a Senior Business Systems Analyst in the Compliance IT team, you will execute all aspects of requirement delivery and data analysis- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, and requirements management for the Global Registrations Platform project.
You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team, working closely with requirements stakeholders to make decisions about requirements approach requirements deliverables, activities, effort estimates and will recommend best courses of action.
What will you do?
Elicit functional and system requirements for Compliance projects for Capital Markets and Wealth Management
Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of details and accuracy of estimates
Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using Agile methodology
Define practical user experiences, including storytelling, personas, process flows and interactions
Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards
Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques to ensure relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through to implementation
Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing / recommending mitigation strategies.
Interact with source systems that will provide data for trade, market, client and reference data for the application.
Manage data acquisition and data mapping activities.
Lead detailed requirements and specifications phase identifying, tracking, escalating and / or resolving business systems issues.
Address and clarify specifications for business partners on data mapping related issues.
Work with developers, Vendor consultants and numerous data sources to gather data requirements and mapping specifications.
Create mapping specifications from various data sources and file formats to a vendor data model.
Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing / recommending mitigation strategies.
Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of the data mapping specifications and testing activities.
Provide BSA support to development team during development, testing and implementation.
Participate in implementation planning, data preparation and post implementation validation.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
5+ years of experience delivering medium to high complexity software projects for financial services.
Expertise in business analysis fundamentals such as gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules using Agile methodology.
Strong experience eliciting business requirements using Use Cases, Business Rules, Data Catalog and User Interface Diagrams.
Proficiency using requirements modeling tools such as data flow diagrams and business process modelling.
Experience with creating data mapping specifications and familiarity with relational databases.
Strong communication and documentation skills demonstrated by knowing the audience and communicating one-on-one with stakeholders.
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of financial industry and functions, for Capital Markets and Wealth Management.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance for licensing and registrations is an asset.
Scrum Master or Product Owner certifications
