Mech Tech Mktg. Inc. is a Manufacturers' Sales Agency in the Plumbing / Heating Industry. Our Company partners with Plumbing / Heating Manufacturers as their sales team in the Ontario market.
Our direct customers are the Plumbing and Heating Wholesalers that purchase our Manufacturers products. We facilitate sales by promoting our Partners products to Engineers, Builders, Wholesale Distributors, and Plumbing and Heating Contractors.
Location :
The Sales Territory for this position is in Southwestern Ontario. The territory borders Woodstock in the East, Owen Sound in the North, Sarina and Windsor in the West.

Outside Sales Representative
Generating sales via face-to-face interactions with our existing customer base as well as developing opportunities with new customers.
Responsible for offering each customer the best customer experience possible. Superb social and interpersonal skills are a must.
The ability to sell multiple product lines is also a must as you will be asked to sell multiple manufacturers products lines such as pumps, solvents / cements, faucets, skinks and toilet seats (as examples).
Responsibilities include :
Work in the field making calls and attending industry events to develop close relationships with key decision makers among existing and new customers
Communicate with customers providing or coordinating customer service, quotes, and dispute resolution by building strong relationships between the customers and the Company.
Territory planning, calls and route planning to maximize sales
Organizing and attending joint sales calls with Manufacturing Partners.
Provide excellent customer service. Resolve customer / client issues / or problems.
Attending Trade Shows and Conferences.
Liaising between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing, and new product release launches.
Prepare and generate reports as required.
Identify, target and acquire new customer accounts to gain and sustain long term relationships between clients and the company
Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools
Perform Engineering Lunch & Learns, Contractor, and Distributor training.
Project management and tracking.
Using CRM program (Salesforce) to manage customer interactions (sales call logs, email logs, customer database, project tracking, customer issues, etc.).
Working knowledge of Sump and Sewage Pump systems is an asset.

Ability to work independently to efficiently manage the assigned territory and accounts
Must be technically and practically competent. This is necessary in order to be able to take technical product knowledge and explain how it works in real word applications to a diverse audience or Engineers, Builders, Wholesalers and Contractors.
Experience using CRM programs (Salesforce preferred).
Experience using general business computer programs (spreadsheets, documents, powerpoints).
Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, an appropriate vehicle (to transport literature, samples and displays), and be willing to travel daily.
