The Role : Site Supervisor

Direct Reports : 4 Installers & 2(Sub-Contractors)

Reports To : Construction Manager

Role Description :

• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
• Train or arrange for training of workers.
• Supervise workers and projects.
• Liaison and management of sub contractor trades, agreements and schedules
• Review project drawings to identify discrepancies, potential problems or items that require clarification
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Hire and train new workers.
• Able to read and understand blueprints of construction sites.
• Accomplish projects in given time frame.
• Resolve work related issues and complaints at site.
• Resolve work problems and make good relations with clients for better business.
• Supervise & Co-coordinate the activities of workers at the construction site
• Monitor projects budget.
• Ensure that all workers know and follow necessary health and safety procedures.
• Ensure resource requirements for scheduled activities are optimized.

Requirements :

• At least 5 years of supervising construction crews and project planning (Preferred).
• At least 5 to 10 years of hands-on construction experience
• First Aid Training and Certification
• Must be good in Communications Skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers.
• Must own have personal vehicle (Preferably a Pick up Truck, SUV but not Mandatory)
• Multi-lingual is an asset
