We are hiring Order Picker's in Vaughan, Ontario!

Job Description

Begin your role with essential SOP and Health & Safety training, followed by hands-on experience in the carts and totes area. You will engage in repetitive lifting of items up to 15lbs, clearing bins from trucks, and checking them for returned products and garbage. Subsequent tasks involve disposing of garbage in compactors. After the initial week, you will transition to order picking using iPads.

Responsibilities

• Clear bins from trucks and check for returned products and garbage.
• Dispose of garbage into compactors.
• Transition to order picking using iPads.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new, fast-paced, and large distribution facility that is clean, well-lit, and safety-focused. Enjoy a diverse environment with a spacious lunchroom. Steel-toed shoes and vests, provided by the company, are required. Shifts available include the Afternoon Shift from Monday to Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM. Employees receive a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid 15-minute break. The staff voted to leave 15 minutes earlier instead of taking a second paid 15-minute break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vaughan, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.60/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
