Job Description :
The Sr Solution Architect will be responsible for applying business and technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities strategic to Group Functions long-term growth.
Supporting Group Functions / corporate lines of businesses, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of the current and target state of architecture in this area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with corporate business teams to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between corporate lines of businesses
- Supporting and driving definition of key aspects of the strategic architecture, identifying and resolving gaps or key issues
- Works with executives from various groups to provide architectural recommendations & guidance as well as executive-level presentations at the enterprise level.
- Providing architectural direction and communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
- Delivers architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency to align with business strategy.
- Partners with broader stakeholders in technology and business in defining architecture possibilities and future.
- Identifies risks or issues with technology solution & design which may impact realization of project benefits and provides guidance and support to stakeholders in making good decisions to pro-actively resolve or mitigate potential risks / delays to the project
- Identifies and researches relevant technologies, performs proof of concepts / prototypes, and recommends applications of such technologies to future product architectures.
- Analyzes and designs viable solutions to high complexity business problems according to user specifications.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of architecture artefacts across the embedded architecture domains (e.g. system flows, data flows, conceptual designs, and application / information models)
- Contributing to standards, policies, best architectural practise and the process to govern against these standards
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills :
1) Minimum 8-10 years of expertise in large and / or complex system integration projects
2) Minimum 8-10 years of expertise in crafting software / platform / infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes
3) Demonstrated strong understanding of various integration and architecture technologies
4) Experience in cloud platform Microsoft Azure is a requirement.
5) Experience working in an Agile development environment
Education :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, (or related) or the equivalent in work experience
- Certifications : n / a however cloud certifications are a plus
