Our client in the banking sector is seeking an experienced Network Engineer that specializes in external domain management and internet security for a 12-month contract employment opportunity.
The successful Network Engineer candidate will be working on a high-visibility project that involves managing and securing domains.
As a Network Engineer, candidates will have expert knowledge and understanding of how DNS and SMTP interact with each other, as well as a solid foundation in routing and switching.
Requirements :
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Network Engineering, including but not limited to switching, routing, etc.
- Experience with external domain management (domain registration, domain hosting, MX records etc.)
- Strong background with DNS and SMTP and how they interact.
- Working knowledge of DNS hierarchy.
- Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Familiarity with CSC Global, a registrar and hosting company that provides domain security tools.
- Ability to work onsite a minimum of one day per week in Toronto, Ontario.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
