Ferrero Canada’s Commercial Early Career Program (ECP) is looking for our next Commercial Coordinator Intern to join our Trade Marketing team.

Learn and gain experience at Ferrero, one of the global leaders in Sweet Packaged Foods, where you’ll support two unique areas :

• Trade Investment Reporting : You’ll provide cross-functional support to Sales, Finance and Trade Marketing with reporting and analysis on how Ferrero’s investments affect the marketplace.
• Seasonal Inventory Management : Oversee the allocation of Ferrero’s seasonal inventory to Canadian retailers.

You’ll see firsthand how Trade Marketing concepts are applied in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry while building the technical and leadership skills needed to develop a successful career with Ferrero.

The Early Careers Program embodies the Ferrero spirit of Learning by Doing and will introduce you to how Trade Marketing concepts are applied to the CPG industry and Sweet Packaged Foods, while putting your skills to work.

This position is HYBRID and will be an up to 8 month PAID Internship , starting January 2025 .

Main Responsibilities :

Trade Investment Reporting

• Support the Revenue Manager with periodic and ad-hoc reporting, tracking business performance and compliance against a series of financial metrics.
• Learn how to analyze data sets to extract knowledge and leverage learnings to improve business results.
• Act as a trusted business partner with Key Account Managers to review reporting and suggest opportunities to drive growth.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a unique business project.
• Business Project : Ferrero will present you with its a challenging business need and work with you to develop a solution! Whether it be a new business process, an analysis tool, or a recommendation to renovate an existing technology, you will influence how Ferrero moves forward.
• This project will allow you to gain a broader understanding of the commercial business unit, while connecting you with cross-functional leaders to learn how their roles affect your project.
• After developing an understanding of the business need, you will work to create a solution.
• Present your project recommendations to Senior Management during your term and receive expert feedback on your presentation and solution.

Product Supply & Allocation Management

• Support the Commercial Planner in developing inventory allocation strategies for seasonal products (Halloween, Holiday, Valentine’s, Easter)
• Create, maintain, and manage a hybrid SAP and Excel based allocation quota system to ensure inventory ships in alignment with agreed strategies.

Technology & Training

• Gain hands-on experience with Ferrero’s commercial technology platform. This includes enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and reporting (Business Intelligence) platforms.
• Support Sales with planning (volume and trade) by responding to questions in a timely manner

Who we are looking for :

• 3rd year + or recent graduate from post-secondary educational institution studying Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance or a related discipline
• Proficient with MS Office Suite tools
• Ability to adapt and learn new things quickly and accurately
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Collaborative, and works effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical capabilities with intermediate-advanced skill in Excel
• Detail & results orientated
