Job description
We are well-staffed for our current projects but continue to grow and are always accepting applications for experienced Site Superintendents !
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Superintendent is responsible for providing overall on-site management, administrative direction and technical direction on project construction.
This position is also responsible for enforcing Company and project policies while ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Be the "go to" person for all site employees and subcontractors
- Plan, coordinate and monitor performance to ensure the best quality and maintain project timelines
- Champion on-site workplace safety
- Communicate all delays, issues and updates to the management team
Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years of site supervision experience (or similar)
- Technical trade diploma
- Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineer drawings and other documents
- Sense of responsibility, initiative and accountability
- Excellent communication skills and a "get 'er done" attitude
