About the Opportunity
Parker Huggett has partnered with a leader in the hospitality construction space. This firm provides project development and construction services to high-profile hotels, restaurants and retail clients across Canada. With an active renovation project in a well-known hotel in Downtown Toronto, we are on the hunt for an experienced site superintendent with high-level finishing experience to join this well-supported team.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Work closely with project manager to plan & execute the project from mobilization to close out
- Champion all site safety-related responsibilities such as, site safety orientation, site inspections, daily toolbox talks and lead by example
- Manage daily tasks for on site labourers
- Coordinate trades on-site
- Resolve construction problems as required
- Monitor project schedules and be accountable for meeting project deadlines
- Conduct quality assessments and professionally communicate expectations and remedies with trades and project team, including consultants
- Participate in trade and progress meetings
- Other duties as required
