Your Role

Identify prospects / Develop and maintain business relationships by visiting brokers on a regularbasis.

Your Responsibilities

Identify prospects / Develop and maintain business relationships by visiting brokers on a regular

basis.

  • Meet sales goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guidelines.
  • Prospect and generate leads (i.e. retail 3rd party brokers)
  • Cross sell with other available products.
  • Commitment to delivering a positive Customer / broker experience.
  • Assists in developing marketing strategies / website and in the promotion of the company and its

products / services.

Ability to effectively & consistently communicate with all levels of internal and external business

partners.

  • Learn & follow company standards, policies & procedures.
  • Obtain insurance licenses as required by management.
  • Approved travel to existing and new prospects and to attend conferences.
  • Participate in continuing education.
  • Explore and assist in process improvement by implementing new technology, software or

applications. (broker & GFH side).

  • Regular monthly reporting on sales activity to Management.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the company.

Your Skills and Experiences

3+ years in a brokerage as an Account Manager / Customer Service Rep; knowledge of most

major markets

  • RIBO License required
  • EPIC Experience preferred
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or equivalent (or working towards) an asset
