We are dedicated to providing exceptional solutions and service to our customers, and we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled National Account Manager to strengthen our relationships with our most important customers and continue to attract new opportunities.

Job Description :

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales and gross profit objectives.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the satisfaction and retention of our key accounts, ultimately driving business growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the customer needs, provide exceptional service, forecast customer requirements to the production team and identify opportunities to expand our partnerships.

Responsibilities :

  • Account Management : Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers, serving as their primary point of contact, providing ongoing support, guidance, and timely resolution of issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning : Develop account plans that outline strategies for growth, retention, and upselling opportunities for key accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various internal departments, including R&D, production, and customer support, to deliver on customer needs and expectations.
  • Contract Negotiation : Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service-level agreements to maximize value for both the customer and the company in conjunction with senior management targets.
  • Sales Growth : Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and new product, or service offerings.

Solicit new potential accounts in specified regions and channels.

Reporting : Track and report on account performance, revenue, and customer feedback, providing regular updates to senior management.

Develop and support internal and external forecasting capabilities to improve in stock position and forecast accuracy.

Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to proactively address challenges and opportunities.

  • Knowledge and proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  • Must have a valid driver s license, with a clean driver s abstract.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with key clients.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or 10 years experience in the field.
  • Minimum 3 years of key account sales, or business development experience, preferably in retail food industry.
