General Purpose of the Position :

The Automation Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving sales of automation solutions and products. They analyze customer needs, devise effective solutions, and foster relationships to expand business opportunities.

The Territory for this role is in the Kitchineer -Windsor area.

Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Engage in lead follow-up, prospecting, and networking to expand customer base and nurture key relationships.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in a range of products and solutions, including servo & stepper motors / drives, motion controllers, and robotic accessories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support business development efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and Quality Management System standards.
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations, striving to close deals effectively.
  • Meet established sales targets and KPIs.
  • Uphold the company's long-standing reputation for exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales or project management within automation, mechatronics, or robotics, or 5 years' experience in machine building and troubleshooting related to these fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or physics.
  • Strong adaptability and multitasking abilities to navigate dynamic situations.
  • Analytical mindset to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
  • Self-management skills to drive initiatives independently.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
