Responsibilities :
- Lift and handle 40-60 lb. pails or cases throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Operate cherry picker fork truck (Class 2 license) or obtain in-house certification with a minimum of 6 months experience.
- Perform ground-level picking, with consideration for fall protection training (provided on site) and adherence to WHMIS guidelines.
- Ensure efficient use of RF scanners for inventory tracking.
- Optionally, operate auto wrappers as needed.
Qualifications :
- Certification for CHERRY PICKER FORK TRUCK operation (Class 2 license) or a minimum of 6 months in-house certification for alternative candidates.
- Manual dexterity and physical capability for heavy lifting.
- Proximity to the workplace to address potential commute challenges, particularly for those without a car / driver's license.
- Own steel-toed shoes, with all other necessary PPE provided.
- Preferred but not mandatory : Prior experience with RF scanners and knowledge of auto wrappers.
