Tomlinson is currently seeking a Shop Helper / Yard Labourer for our Paint Shop at 3302 Moodie Drive. This position will be full-time hours working from Monday to Friday from 7AM to 5PM.
This position will be ideal for someone who likes to work with and around heavy equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform all task with regard to your safety and safety of others
- Operate forklifts and loaders to assist with loading and unloading material and equipment
- Washing equipment
- Assist Shop Technicians with masking, taping, and sanding equipment prior to painting
- Assist with cleaning and minor maintenance of day-to-day operations in the shop
REQUIREMENTS :
- Ability to work around and operate heavy equipment
- Ability to be on your feet for a long period of time
- Some heavy lifting may be required
- Occasionally work independently
- Punctual attendance with ability to work necessary hours on daily and weekly basis
- Mechanically inclined
