The Senior Sourcing Analyst reports to Manager, Sourcing Management and is responsible for the end-to-end execution of the sourcing & contracting process for Professional Services.

The Senior Sourcing Analyst will support the Category Lead who oversees project teams that include business unit stakeholders and subject matter experts.

It is expected that the individual will bring experience in Professional Services to contribute to the development and application of sourcing best practices across the organization.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute on medium to high value / complexity sourcing projects and contracting efforts
  • Conduct in-depth analysis (pricing and contractual), determine sourcing strategy, and execute sourcing projects (such as RFx, single / sole sourcing, renewals, amendments)
  • Leverage market and supplier intelligence for development of sourcing and negotiation strategies
  • Work with business partners to collect and finalize requirements necessary to evaluate and select suppliers
  • Drive and lead the negotiation process, with consultative support, as required, from business, legal and risk
  • Proactively coordinate and schedule meetings with external resources and internal subject matter experts
  • Independently provide leadership and support to a team of indirect reports on sourcing projects

Required Qualifications :

Sourcing experience in any of the following categories is an asset : business print / digital print, professional services, business process outsourcing, business operations (e.

g., document processing and mailroom services)

  • Undergraduate degree (business preferred)
  • MBA or a procurement / supply chain certification (CPSM, CSCMP, NISCL, CSP) is an asset
  • 3+ years of progressive business experience in procurement or strategic sourcing or global supply chain management
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
  • Proven experience in delivering large savings and value in a procurement function
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Skilled communicator - communicates complexity with clarity and ease; articulates a clear view of concepts, ideas, and objectives;

represents the company externally with confidence; skilled in both oral and written communication

  • Team builder - builds strong partnerships with internal clients and suppliers; builds buy-in and engagement with key stakeholders
  • Able to work in a cross-functional international team environment and collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives

Salary range is expected to be between

$70,350.00 CAD - $117,250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
