We are looking for an experienced ERP Dynamics365 Business Analyst to join a company in the energy sector, located in Montreal.
This is a permanent, hybrid position (a few days a month on site).
Under the supervision of the IT Director, the incumbent will be responsible for improving current application solutions and deploying new business solutions in all areas of the company.
He / she will oversee all planning and execution phases of projects under his / her responsibility, while ensuring that business processes are documented and optimized.
The incumbent will also offer support to users in his / her areas of expertise.
Main responsibilities :
- Collaborate with super-users to define requirements, perform business and functional analyses, and propose appropriate solutions;
- Manage IT projects and requests, from planning to execution, including needs analysis, mandate definition and project follow-up;
- Translate business and functional requirements for partners and suppliers;
- Proactively identify integration issues and project impacts to facilitate design and implementation;
- Act as technical specialist on all corporate systems (ERP Dynamics365, CRM, PowerBI, PowerApps, etc.);
- Establish, optimize and manage methodologies, processes and procedures for access management and the production launch of application systems (SOX and 52-109 compliance);
- Manage and resolve 3rd level application support incidents;
- Participate in the choice of technological solutions and the implementation of new systems;
- Develop and maintain business process diagrams;
Train and support super-users / technicians on new processes and modules deployed via training and documentation.
Skills profile :
- University degree in business technology management or equivalent training;
- At least five (5) years' experience in IT business analysis, including experience in ERP deployment or evolution;
- Mastery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and / or Dynamics AX;
- Knowledge of one or more business areas (finance, sales, purchasing, production, inventory management, quality management, human resources);
- Good knowledge of project management principles and Agile methods;
- Experience in business modeling and analysis;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people;
- Experience in the mining, industrial or manufacturing sectors is an asset;
- Knowledge of Power Platform and Azure Devops a plus;
- Excellent analytical, conceptual and synthesis skills;
- Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, attention to detail and resourcefulness;
- Results orientation, organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Written and oral communication skills in French and English;
Mastery of technological tools and environments (Office Suite : Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
