Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Factors Specialist to join the ThisCompany Loss Prevention organization (LP) which is the corporatesafety organization within This Company.

We provide both daytodayinfield occupational and process safety support to This Companyoperations as well as centralized technical support and consultingfunction.

Our field offices are located in Abqaiq Riyadh Ras TanuraDhahran Udhailiyah Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan) and Tanajib.

Through these offices LP provides its services to all This Companyfacilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom.

The primary role is to provides corporate support consultation andsolutions to drive high human performance of frontline workers bydeveloping robust systems to manage human failure and preventhumaninduced incidents.

Use proven methods to drive a positivesafety culture and instill safety leadership skills for criticalcompany roles.

Responsibilities :

• Develop tools for incorporating human factorsinto qualitative and quantitative risk assessments such as humanfailure analysis safety critical task analysis and HumanReliability Analysis.
• Create tools to assesshuman performance in field activities.
• Participate in incident investigations to review andanalyze human performance issues.
• Provideadvice and validation on integrating Human Factors engineering intocapital projects.
• Advise on the design andmanagement of operating and maintenance procedures to optimizehuman factors.
• Develop systems and utilizeexpert methods to integrate riskinformed competencies.
• Streamline critical communications for frontlineworkers.
• Advise facilities on fatigue riskmanagement and shift work schedule design.
• Develop tools to verify safe manning levels optimalworkload and allocation of functions.
• Supportefforts to manage organizational changes by developing tools andstrategies.
• Develop programs and strategies topromote and sustain a positive safety culture.
• Implement proven methods to assess safety culture andimplement targeted interventions.
• Assess andenhance safety leadership competencies across all levels of theorganization.
• Integrate Human Factors thinkinginto daily operational and maintenance activities including siteinspections work permitting and pre and postjobbriefings.
• Develop communication materialssuch as pamphlets presentations and videos to promote understandingof human factors.
• Provide training andawareness on various human factors topics.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Bachelors degree inengineering industrial psychology human factors or ergonomicsrequired.
• Masters and / or PhD in Human FactorsErgonomics or Industrial Psychology preferred.
• Five years of Human Factors experience in the Oil and Gasindustry including work with International Oil and Gas CompaniesConsultancy firms or EPC companies.
• Preferredcertification in human factors such as Certified Human FactorsProfessional (CHFP) Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)Chartered Ergonomics and Human Factors Specialist (C.

ErgHF) orEuropean Ergonomist (Eur.Erg).

Collaborativeteam player with excellent communication skills.
